CLAUDIO RANIERI may get his wish of taking the pressure off Jamie Vardy as Leicester look to secure a deal for Sampdoria striker Eder.

Leicester bid £8m for Serie A striker to help boost title charge
Leicester target Eder scored six goals in Sampdoria's first five Serie A games this season

The Italy international is on the Foxes' radar following his impressive season in Serie A.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, an £8million bid has been tabled.
Despite his side's poor form that sees Sampdoria sit 17th in the table, Eder has shone with a prolific goal ratio.
His 12 strikes in 19 Serie A appearances this term proves his ability to score, and now Leicester have apparently made a move for the 29-year-old.
Brazilian-born Eder could help provide the goals to see table toppers Leicester at least earn a Champions League spot, while the title is still very possible.

A 3-0 win on Saturday against Stoke saw Vardy return to the scoresheet, but Ranieri wants another forward following the exit of Andrej Kramaric.
The signing of Eder may not be straightforward though, as Inter Milan are also interested while Chinese club Jiangsu are said to have offered a bigger transfer fee of £10.6m.
It is added that Eder is not ready to head for China, but Inter's involvement may be tempting.
The Foxes have offered the 5ft 10in man a three-year deal with annual wages of £1.7m plus bonuses.
