Wolves striker Benik Afobe is attracting interest from the Premier League

The Eagles, who are fresh from a cash investment from America, are desperate to sign a goal scorer during this transfer window.
Former Arsenal man Afobe, 22, has scored ten goals for Wolves this season and is at the top of Pardew’s wanted list.

But he faces competition for the England under-21 international hit man from his former club Newcastle United as well as Norwich City.
Championship promotion hopefuls Derby County are also said to be interested in Afobe but Wolves boss Kenny Jackett insists that they have received no bids.

Paul Clement's Derby are also reportedly interested in signing Afobe

Jackett paid around £2m for Afobe last January and he is now rated at around £10 million with Arsenal due a hefty slice of the fee thanks to a sell on clause.
The Eagles are seventh in the Premier League table but have only managed 23 goals all season and have failed to score in each of their last three games.

Last month they received an initial £50m investment from Americans Josh Harris and David Blitzer and have told Pardew there is money to spend.
