RADAMEL FALCAO has emerged as a shock target for MLS side Columbus Crew, according to reports.
Falcao joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Monaco in the summer after spending last season at Manchester United.
The Colombian striker endured a dreadful time at Old Trafford, and despite his inconsistent performances, Chelsea gave the striker another chance to prove himself in England this season.
But Falcao has made just nine Premier League appearances for the Blues this term, scoring only one goal.
He is currently on the sidelines after he picked up a thigh injury in a training game.
While Falcao's injury means he is unlikely to be fit enough to move this month, Chelsea could still get his £140,000-a-week wages off their wage bill.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim the Colombian international is wanted by Columbus Crew.
The MLS season doesn't start until March and Falcao is expected to be fit by the spring, meaning a move to the USA could be on the cards.
