Chelsea could offer Real Madrid outcast January escape route

CHELSEA could offer Dani Carvajal an escape from Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

 

Chelsea could be in for Dani Carvajal this month

 

The right back is reportedly unhappy at the Bernabeu and is considering his options.

Carvajal played 90 minutes in Zinedine Zidane's opening two games, but was dropped to the bench for the third against Real Betis with Danilo preferred.

This is Carvajal's third season at Madrid but the summer signing of Danilo - who has started 14 times in La Liga this season - has pushed him down the pecking order.

 

Carvajal has started eight times, and Fichajes.net report that he is unhappy and would like to leave the club.

And they claim Chelsea may be willing to offer him more football with Branislav Ivanovic under fire for his performances this term.

The Serbia international had an awful start to the season but following an injury has improved.

Chelsea also have Cesar Azpilicueta, currently deployed as left-back, who can play on the right.
