DIEGO COSTA is a major doubt for Chelsea's home clash with West Brom on Wednesday after hobbling off the Stamford Bridge pitch.
Costa scored in Chelsea's 2-0 FA Cup third-round win over Scunthorpe this afternoon.
But the Spain international did not finish the game, with Bertrand Traore replacing him four minutes from full time.
And Guus Hiddink confirmed the forward is "doubtful" to play against the Baggies - a bitter blow for the Blues manager's beleaguered strike force.
"I was happy with the result," Hiddink added.
"The Premier League is difficult to get the fourth place, but the other projects are the FA Cup and the Champions League
"It is a decent result against a very strong opponent, especially in their set pieces.
"We started well, but we forgot to kill it off. It is good to be in the next round.
"We had high pressing, but we were a little bit arrogant in finishing off."
Costa's absence may mean Loic Remy returning to the first XI on Wednesday despite the striker's expected departure this January.
Remy is reportedly wanted by a number of club and Chelsea are said to be keen on shedding him from their squad list.
