TOTTENHAM have set their sights on sought-after Chelsea striker Loic Remy.
That is according to the Sunday People, who claim Spurs are keen on landing the France international on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to strengthen his strike force this month to add competition for Harry Kane up front.
But the White Hart Lane club believe they have little chance of persuading their London rivals to part with the 29-year-old.
Spurs also face competition from Aston Villa and Newcastle, who are both fighting for their lives in the Premier League relegation zone.
Villa boss Remi Garde has made no secret of his desire to sign Remy, while Magpies manager Steve McClaren is known to be in the market for a striker.
Spurs have also been linked with Corinthians front man Alexandre Pato and out-of-favour West Brom striker Saido Berahinho.
