PEP GUARDIOLA has already started planning his imminent future at Manchester City by supplying the club hierarchy with a list of the players he wants to bring in.
According to Spanish sources close to the Bayern Munich boss, it's not overloaded with super stars like Lionel Messi and Neymar from his former club Barcelona.
Instead the names include Borussia Dortmund's German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, also a target for Manchester United and Liverpool, and Atletico Bilbao central defender Aymeric Laporte, who has a £37million release clause.
Juventus have already made a move for 25-year-old Gundogan in the current transfer window only to be told he is not for sale. But that won't stop there being a scramble in the summer with Guardiola at the front.
Although the Spaniard will remain in charge at Bayern until the end of the season he has already verbally committed to City for the following three seasons.
Current boss Manuel Pellegrini has been kept informed of City's plans and was happy to sign a new two-year contract last summer in the knowledge that he would be well rewarded when it was time to make way for the new man. His fate is sealed irrespective of how the club fares this season.
