Arsene Wenger says there's no striker better than Danny Welbeck available on the market
 
, insisting Arsenal’s injured Danny Welbeck, who is two to three weeks away from full fitness, is better than anyone on the market.
When asked if he expects to dip into the transfer market again, he said: “If you gave me the choice, I’d prefer to have my injured players back."
The Frenchman added: "Welbeck is two to three weeks away and I am confident I will not find a better player than Welbeck on the market.”
 
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail claim Arsenal and Liverpool are set to battle it out for Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams.
Both Wenger and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp are thought to have sent their scouts to watch the the Spain Under-21 international in action this season.
Williams, who has six goals to his name this season, has a £15.3m release clause in his contract but Bilbao are keen to ramp that up to £76.3m to deter Premier League pair's interest.

And finally, the Gunners have been dealt a blow in their £20m pursuit of Watford hitman Odion Ighalo, who insists he has no desire to leave the Hornets in January.
“I am a Watford player, I have a five-year contract here,” the Nigerian told Sky Sports.
“I am happy here, the fans love me here, everybody loves me here. I’m enjoying my football so I am not in a hurry to go anywhere.”
