Agent confirms international striker is in talks over Chelsea move

CHELSEA are in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain ace Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to the player's agent.

Lavezzi is out of contract with PSG in the summer and he is unlikely to sign a new deal with the French champions. 

The Argentinian has been attracting interest from Inter Milan and Barcelona, while Premier League sides Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with moves.

But the 30-year-old's agent, Alessandro Moggi, claims Chelsea are now in talks with the Argentine.

 

"Inter are the most interested team at the moment," Moggi told Italian news outlet Sport Mediaset.

"There was interest from Barcelona and Chelsea, and we're talking with the Blues.

"I can't rule out him only leaving Paris at the end of the season though, as Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in keeping him."

Lavezzi joined PSG in 2012 after spending five years with Napoli, and the forward has 47 international caps.
