PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN winger Ezequiel Lavezzi is unlikely join either Arsenal or Liverpool in January, according to his agent.
The 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has fallen down the pecking order in Paris after the summer arrival of Angel Di Maria.
Arsenal and Liverpool are long-term admirers of Lavezzi and have been heavily linked with a January move for the Argentine.
However, it now looks like the Premier League clubs will have to wait until the summer to make a move for the former Napoli star after his agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, admitted he expects him to stay in Paris.
Mazzoni told Italian radio station Radio CRC: "At the moment I see no real possibility, the player will not leave in January.
"PSG are doing very well in the Champions League and they want to go as far as possible, that could therefore hinder a Lavezzi departure in January. Next June, Lavezzi will quietly choose his team for next season."
Even if he does leave PSG in the summer, Mazzoni admitted Lavezzi would prefer a move back to Italy rather than a switch the Premier League.
He added: "Lavezzi is out of contract and is nostalgic for Italy. His return to Serie A is a possibility."
