TORINO captain Kamil Glik has ended any talk of a move to Manchester United by committing his future to the Italian club.
The centre-back has impressed in Serie A over the last 18 months, leading to him being linked by a host of Bundesliga and Premier League clubs.
The 27-year-old joined Torino from Palermo in 2011 and became captain of the Turin side in 2013.
Louis van Gaal was linked with a move for Glik in the summer and he was believed to be considering a renewed effort to sign the Polish international in January as he looks to strengthen his options at the back.
Glik's previous contract was due to expire in 18 months, with Van Gaal hopeful of being able to sign the defender on a cut price deal in January.
But he has now signed a new deal with the Italian side, keeping him in Serie A until 2020.
With seven goals last season, he was Serie A's top scoring defender, along with Fiorentina's Gonzalo Rodriguez.
