JOSE MOURINHO'S exit will see Chelsea step up their bid to sign Leicester hitman Jamie Vardy, according to reports.
Vardy has been a revelation for Leicester this season, topping the Premier League's scoring charts with 15 goals.
The former non-league man notched in Mourinho's final match as Chelsea boss on Monday night, with Leicester winning 2-1.
Mourinho was sacked at the Blues' Cobham training ground yesterday, a move which could see Vardy head to Stamford Bridge.

The London Evening Standard claim the 28-year-old is Chelsea's No 1 target to bolster their frontline.

Leicester do not want to sell the England international with boss Claudio Ranieri insisting Vardy nor Riyad Mahrez will be sold.
"Already I spoke to the two guys," Ranieri said. "We continue together, we can improve, to help grow up the team. Maybe at end of the season we can speak.
"I don't consider also in the summer. In my mind they are the first I want to keep and continue with this group. It is a good group. They are desperate in every single ball. I love this."
