Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri vows to keep hold of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez
Claudio Ranieri is adamant Vardy and Mahrez will stay at Leicester
 
CLAUDIO RANIERI has ruled out Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez being sold in January and has vowed to fight to keep them at Leicester next season.
 
The duo have been pivotal in 's dizzy climb to the summit of the Premier League, contributing 26 goals and catching the eye of suitors.
But Ranieri said: "Already I spoke to the two guys. We continue together, we can improve, to help grow up the team. Maybe at end of the season we can speak.
 
"I don't consider also in the summer. In my mind they are the first I want to keep and continue with this group. It is a good group. They are desperate in every single ball. I love this."
Leicester will look to reward Vardy and Mahrez with new contracts and Ranieri added: "I didn't speak with my owner. But he knows very well my idea, it is also his idea."
