NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news coming from the Premier League.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has responded to speculation linking striker Christian Benteke with a January move to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old Belgian was dropped to the bench for the 3-0 defeat to Watford yesterday, but Klopp insists there is no substance to the rumours.
"If there is the same probability in that (story) as all the other transfer rumours since I have been here, then I am pretty cool," Klopp said after the defeat at Vicarage Road.
"Maybe it was not the best decision (to start him on the bench), I don't know. Today I decided not to start with Christian. It is up to the player to change this."
Meanwhile, The Sun claim Manchester United have already held talks with a third party for Jose Mourinho to replace the under-pressure Louis van Gaal.
The Dutchman reportedly has two games left to save his job at Old Trafford after Saturday's defeat to Norwich meant United are now without a win in six outings.
Mourinho is open to an immediate return to management after he was sacked by Chelsea last week, with United thought to have made contact before the Canaries clash.
And finally, Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, a known target for Arsene Wenger, as United look to step up their interest ahead of the January window.
The Red Devils are thought to be lining up a stunning £29million bid for the Algeria international, who has 14 goals to his name in all competitions this term.
