Chelsea set to make shock January move for Liverpool striker
Christian Benteke is reportedly being targeted by Chelsea

CHELSEA are planning a shock move for Liverpool star Christian Benteke in January, according to reports.

The Sunday People claim Benteke was identified as a priority target by Jose Mourinho before he was sacked by Blues owner Roman Abramovich on Thursday.
And despite Mourinho's sacking, it is believed that Chelsea will still attempt to sign the Belgium international with Guus Hiddink now in temporary charge.
The 25-year-old joined Liverpool from Aston Villa for £32.5million in the summer, but he has reportedly struggled to adapt to the methods of Jurgen Klopp since the German took over from Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp admitted this week Benteke is suffering from confidence issues.

"There's a difference between the way we play and Aston Villa play," he said.
"If as a striker you don't feel confident in the game because you aren't getting enough crosses then you have to move more.
"As a striker you want to play five, six games in a row. At Villa when he was fit he played - but here everything is different."
Benteke has scored four times in 13 Premier League appearances this season, but was dropped from the starting XI for today's match against Watford.
