Team News: Sanchez and Arsenal star to return against Man City but five remain out

Alexis Sanchez could return in time to face Manchester City on Monday

 

ARSENE WENGER remains hopeful about Alexis Sanchez's chances of playing in Arsenal's title clash with Manchester City.

 

The Chile forward has been missing with a hamstring problem but returned to training earlier this week and is in contention to make a timely return for the Gunners.

Wenger could also see the return of midfielder and club captain Mikel Arteta to his matchday squad following a calf injury.

 

However, Jack Wilshere (leg), Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky (all knee) all remain out of action.
