MANCHESTER UNITED captain Wayne Rooney is one of nine players who will miss Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.
Morgan Schneiderlin is back in contention after overcoming a hip problem, but Rooney (ankle), Marcos Rojo (shoulder), Phil Jones (ankle), Ander Herrera (hamstring), Luke Shaw (leg) and Antonio Valencia (foot) remain out.
Defenders Matteo Darmian (hamstring) and Chris Smalling (groin) are also out of contention after suffering their respective injuries in the 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg.
