Ryan Giggs could be approached by Swansea to take over their vacant manager position, according to reports.
Manchester United assistant boss Giggs, 42, is seen as the future head coach of United once Louis van Gaal quits the club.
But Swansea are in search of a new manager after sacking Garry Monk.
And the Daily Post say the former Wales international could succeed Monk, with Swans chairman Huw Jenkins ready to request a meeting to discuss the appointment.
In transfer news, United are set to bid £50million for Everton's John Stones, claim the Daily Star.
United are in need of defensive recruits after Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian were injured in midweek.
Chelsea tried to sign the 21-year-old during the summer but Everton held firm on their reluctance to sell.
It is thought a £50m fee is required to prise the England international away from Goodison Park.
Chelsea had three bids - the last reaching £38m - rejected by Everton during August.
Wayne Rooney will reportedly be offered a £75million deal to leave Manchester United.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim the England striker is wanted by the Chinese Super League.
Rooney currently earns £300,000 a week at Old Trafford but the skipper could pick an even greater wage out east.
It is thought he would be offered a three-year contract worth £25m a season and would join up with Sven Goran Eriksson at Shanghai SIPG.
The CSL are also interested in Chelsea centre-back John Terry.
