Mesut Ozil: Arsenal can use Champions League confidence to beat Man City
Mesut Ozil believes Arsenal can take three points off Manchester City tonight (8pm)

MESUT OZIL insists his side will take the confidence from their Champions League triumph into tonight's game against Manchester City.

The Gunners recorded an impressive 3-0 away victory over Olympiakos earlier this month to secure their progression into the knockout stages and set up a two-legged tie with Barcelona.
Arsene Wenger's side needed to win by two or more goals to progress but a hat-trick from Olivier Giroud ensured they qualified from their group for the 16th consecutive season with ease.
Arsenal host Manchester City tonight (8pm) with just one point separating the two sides in second and third respectively.

A win for Wenger's men would take them within two points of leaders Leicester and extend their lead over Manuel Pellegrini's side to four points.
And Germany international Ozil is confident of picking up three points at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
"We are a more confident team this season. I can feel as a player on the pitch the team is more confident when we play. We dominate the other team," Ozil told The Times.

Arsenal secured a memorable 3-0 victory over Olympiakos this month

"The team believes in itself more this season. It's not just started now. It's been going for the whole year. We played very good football in the second half of last season. The players believe we can be successful this season.
"I believe we will take the three points from City. We want to win because it's at our home and we want to be successful. We are more hungry this season.
"Look at the Champions League. You could see us in Athens against Olympiacos: we just needed two goals but we went for the third one. We showed more confidence, more hunger."
