Man Utd urged to move fast to secure Pep Guardiola signing ahead of Man City and Chelsea
Manchester United have been urged to move for Pep Guardiola by Viv Anderson

VIV ANDERSON has urged Manchester United to move quickly and secure the services of Pep Guardiola as he is a perfect fit for the club’s attacking philosophy.

Guardiola is expected to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with German newspaper Bild claiming he will announce his decision next week.
The former Barcelona boss has won two titles and a German Cup since taking over at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2013.
Manchester City are known to be admirers of Guardiola and are in pole position to land the 44-year-old, but Manchester United and Chelsea could also be interested in acquiring his services.

With suggestions Louis van Gaal could leave Old Trafford before the end of his contract in 2017, Anderson believes United should be doing everything they can to beat their rivals to his signature.
“Manchester United should go for Pep Guardiola straight away,” he told talkSPORT.
“I would have gone for him before Louis van Gaal if I had the chance. He’s a very good manager, he gets the teams to play in the right way.

“It’s more about the philosophy of Manchester United that you have to instil in the manager, and I don’t think they did their homework when they employed Van Gaal.
“Man United have to play in a certain way and fans are voting with their feet now, they’re not liking what they’re seeing at the moment.
“Who would I like to see there long-term? Ryan Giggs.
“He knows the philosophy of the club and I know he hasn’t got much experience but he knows the club inside out and he would get people around who know a bit more.”
