A HORRIFIC injury to China's Zheng Zou marred Barcelona's World Club Cup semi-final victory over Guangzhou Evergrande today.
 
Zou was defending a long ball when he fell and got his left leg trapped under himself.
The left-back's foot twisted backwards, leaving him with a double leg break and a shattered ankle, Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo report.
 
Barca ran out 3-0 winners in Japan to progress to the Club World Cup final.
Luis Suarez bagged a hat-trick for the European champions, who were without Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Argentina's Messi sat out the clash with abdominal pain and it is not known if he will be fit for the final.
Barca will play South America's champions Argentine side River Plate in the final in Yokohama on Sunday.
Guangzhou, meanwhile, will play for third place against Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
