Bayern Munich chasing former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to replace Pep Guardiola
The former Real Madrid, Chelsea and AC Milan could become of another European giant
FORMER Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has been sounded out by Bayern Munich as the German giants prepare for life after Pep Guardiola.

Ancelotti is understood to have given a positive response to the overtures from Bavaria as it looks increasingly unlikely that Guardiola will sign a new contract as his current three year deal winds down.
Guardiola wants to leave any definitive decision on his future until after the winter break – time in which he will spend time with his family back home in Spain.
It appears the former Barcelona boss will make the announcement over his future plans when Bayern travel to Dubai for warm weather training at the beginning of January in readiness for the resumption of the Bundesliga.

Ironically the news will come from the Middle East where Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour is based.
The Abu Dhabi overlord has made it known that a money no object offer to make Guardiola Manchester City’s manager is waiting for the Spaniard.

Manchester United have already indicated they won’t be trying to lure Guardiola to Old Trafford as they continue to have trust in Louis van Gaal but also believe that the Bayern boss is heading elsewhere – almost certainly to their noisy neighbours.
