LOUIS VAN GAAL has admitted he could still be axed by Manchester United like Jose Mourinho was by Chelsea.
The Dutchman's position at Old Trafford has been uncertain following a string of poor results.
Last night's goalless draw with the Blues was United's eighth match without a win in all competitions.
They were dumped out of the Champions League and have slipped to sixth in the Premier League.
Van Gaal has insisted he will not resign but conceded he could still be sacked.
"When the players give such a performance with a lot of pressure, there's no reason to resign," he said.
"The crisis here is the environment and you [the media] are part of that.
"The players are willing to fight for every metre. The manager is willing to fight. The members of staff are willing to fight and the board has every confidence in the staff and the manager."
"In this crazy football world it can happen every day and also with me.
"When it happens to Jose Mourinho then it can happen with me."
