Jurgen Klopp set to learn extent of Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren's knee injury
Dejan Lovren suffered the knee injury against West Brom on Sunday

LIVERPOOL will today discover the extent of the knee injury that saw Dejan Lovren stretchered off in Sunday’s 2-2 stalemate with West Brom.

The Croatian defender required stitches after feeling the force of a full-blooded challenge from West Brom’s Craig Gardner and has undergone a scan.
If Lovren is facing a spell out, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could hand an instant recall to Mamadou Sakho who is back in training after five weeks out himself due to a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Simon Mignolet, who was at fault for West Brom’s opening goal, is expected to sign a new contract before the end of the year.
