Aleksandar Mitrovic admits he was angry at being dropped by Newcastle boss Steve McClaren
Aleksandar Mitrovic drew Newcastle level at White Hart Lane

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC has admitted he was angry with Steve McClaren at being dropped from the Newcastle side in recent weeks.

The Serbia international provided the perfect answer to his perceived injustice after scoring within two minutes of arriving as substitute on Sunday and helping to turn yet another potential defeat into the first comeback win of 2015.
The £13million summer signing from Anderlecht has struggled to settle into a side immediately entrenched in a relegation scrap but did not take kindly to being dropped after some indifferent form.
"I was angry because I spent two games on the bench and I wanted to show that I deserved to play," Mitrovic said.
"Okay, I didn't say anything because I respect Papiss Cisse, he played the really well the last two weeks and he scored against Palace.

"And I respect the coach, so I didn't say anything and I waited for my moment. It came against Spurs.
"It is hard for anyone to be on the bench but I worked hard and waited for my moment.
"Every game I want to prove myself and I was concentrating on trying to score goals. I scored against Manchester City and against Norwich and it is the best feeling when you score and, like on Sunday, when you win in the last minute."
Back-to-back wins against Liverpool and Tottenham have finally lifted Newcastle out of the bottom three and Mitrovic added: "We have to continue this form."
