JOSE MOURINHO'S future has been discussed by the Chelsea hierarchy, according to reports.
BBC Sport report Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has led talks on Mourinho's position at the club in the past 24 hours.
Mourinho is under intense pressure after his side's 2-1 defeat to Leicester on Monday.
The Blues are putting up a shocking Premier League title defence and sit in 16th place just a point above the relegation zone.
And Mourinho could be about to lose his job, having been made the bookmakers' favourite to be the next top-flight boss to be sacked.
It has been claimed Mourinho's position was part of a wider discussion between Chelsea chiefs about how to turn their season around, but it is not yet clear whether he will still be in charge against Sunderland on Saturday.
