Boost for Chelsea as Eden Hazard set to return for Sunderland clash
Chelsea's Eden Hazard talks to manager Jose Mourinho

EDEN HAZARD could be available for Chelsea’s crucial clash with Sunderland on Saturday after scans revealed he has avoided major injury, according to reports.

The Belgian attacker was substituted after 31 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Leicester on Monday after a challenge by Jamie Vardy.
Last season’s player of year clutched his hip and walked off the pitch in visible discomfort despite manager Jose Mourinho’s apparent scepticism.

Mourinho said: “In ten seconds he made the decision himself.
“It must be a serious injury because he left the pitch straight away. He made the decision he wasn't in the position to play, so it must be important.

"His first reaction was "I can't'", I was going to make the change. His second reaction was "I want to try" but his first steps on the pitch he immediately says "I can't do it", so it was him in a few seconds that he had three different perspectives.”
Belgian publication HLN claimed scans showed Hazard had suffered a hip contusion but there is optimism from Chelsea that the 24-year-old will recover quickly.
The report adds that Hazard will be assessed in training to see whether he will be fit enough to return on the weekend.
