Sergio Aguero back in training to boost Manchester City ahead of Arsenal trip
Man City's leading scorer could be back in Premier League action soon
 
SERGIO AGUERO has given Manchester City a major boost ahead of their Christmas showdowns with title rivals Arsenal and Leicester.
 
Leading scorer Aguero has missed four games with a heel injury but returned to training with the rest of the first team squad yesterday (Tues) and is expected to be back in the team for City's trip to the Emirates on Monday.
then play Sunderland on Boxing Day before the clash with surprise leaders Leicester at the King Power Stadium on December 29.
Aguero was only three games into his comeback from a hamstring injury which had sidelined him for seven matches when he damaged his heel against Southampton and needed another lay-off.
 
Pellegrini said at the weekend: "Sergio is improving and we hope he will start working with the squad on Tuesday or Wednesday. We play on Monday against so we hope he will be fit for that game."
Defenders Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta are also on their way back after long injury lay-offs.
