CALL of Duty: Black Ops 3 Patch 1.04 has gone live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The huge update brings about a number of changes to the game, ranging from new weapons to quick-joining a friend’s match.
The PS4 patch is a massive 3GB with the Xbox One’s weighing in at over 1GB, but there is yet to be a release for the PC.
There are now new secondary weapons in Black Ops 3 which can be unlocked from the Black Market with Cryptokeys.
These include Brass Knuckles, a Butterfly Knife and a Wrench, meaning that players have more melee options at their disposal.
Gamers can also now trade in Supply Drop duplicates for new Cryptokeys, and may be linked with the upcoming Call of Duty points system.
Friends will be able to quick-join each other’s games, with split-screen mode seeing sharper textures and graphics.
Custom game settings can now be saved, while a match counter could provide crucial statistics on specific weapon usage.
There are also changes to Prestige, with new emblems and higher levels now made available for all.
Some weapons and Scorestreaks have also been buffed or nerfed following on from last week’s hotfix, while the Nightmare campaign mode is now available from the start.
