Black Ops 3 points are available for multiplayer and Zombies Mode |
BLACK Ops 3 fans on Xbox One, PS4 and PC can now unlock some of the new items coming to the game’s Black Market for multiplayer and Zombies mode in new ways.
Activision have announced the rollout of microtransactions in their latest Call of Duty title, which will allow fans instant access to some of the game’s top items.
The Black Market store was updated earlier this week, bringing new weapons, taunts and variants to multiplayer, while also adding Vials of Liquid Divinium and Extra Slot Packs to Black Ops 3 Zombies mode.
The paid-for Call of Duty points meanwhile, unlocks items for players, who still have the chance to gain all of them through playing the game normally.
Activision have also confirmed that players who log in on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC will receive a one-time gift of 200 Call of Duty Points to use in Black Ops 3 for a limited time.
The Black Ops 3 Black Market has been updated |
“Now available, the refresh to the Black Market introduces three new melee weapons available through Supply Drops: the Butterfly Knife, Wrench, and Brass Knuckles,” Activision Communications Manager Scott Lowe confirmed.
“Each functions like the Combat Knife and can be equipped as your secondary weapon, but offer their own look and feel.
“The team at Treyarch has also added an array of new taunts, new sets of bodies and head variants for each Specialist, as well as Epic rarity camo, and a wealth of new Calling Cards on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
“For fans that want to secure additional Supply Drops in multiplayer or Vials of Liquid Divinium in zombies, we’re introducing Call of Duty Points—a new optional virtual currency for players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
“Fans can now purchase Call of Duty Points and use them to acquire Rare Supply Drops in Black Ops 3.
“For zombies fans, Call of Duty Points can also be used to purchase Vials of Liquid Divinium otherwise earned by playing Shadows of Evil or The Giant Bonus Map, which can be used to create Gobblegums in Dr. Monty’s Factory and aid in the fight against the undead hordes.
“Items contained in Supply Drops and Gobblegums remain the same, regardless of whether they’re unlocked with Cryptokeys, Vials of Liquid Divinium, or Call of Duty Points.
“Additionally, Call of Duty Points can be used for other in-game content, such as the Extra Slots pack.”
