Arsenal consider move for Bundesliga star as Arsene Wenger plans January spending spree
Granit Xhaka is on Arsenal's radar after crisis

ARSENAL are keeping tabs on Granit Xhaka after suffering an injury crisis in midfield.

Arsene Wenger has lost Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin and Mikel Arteta in recent weeks while Jack Wilshere remains out.
The Frenchman has paired Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini in the middle but there are doubts over the combination long term.
Flamini, 31, was expected to leave the club last summer and Ramsey has also struggled with injury.

And, according to the Daily Mail, the Gunners could move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Xhaka in January.
The 23-year-old has also been linked with a move to German giants Bayern Munich but Arsenal had him watched during Monchengladbach's Champions League tie with Manchester City.
However, he has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2019 and is reportedly happy to stay.
The Gunners are also monitoring developments around William Carvalho, Ruben Neves, Victor Wanyama and Adrien Rabiot.
