MANCHESTER UNITED fans are facing a massive ticket price hike when they travel to Denmark to watch their side face FC Midtjylland.
United were drawn with the Danish side in the round of 32 of the Europa League on Monday, with the away tie scheduled for Thursday February 18.
Midtyjlland have already faced English opposition this season, knocking out Southampton in the play-off 2-1 on aggregate.
However, Saints fans were charged just £22 for a ticket when they visited, while United fans will have to fork out £71 to get into the ground, a rise of 222 per cent.
The home leg will take place at Old Trafford a week later where Red Devils fans will pay at most £38, while the cheapest adult tickets come in at just £21.
United fans are also up in arms at the allocation of tickets, as the Manchester club have been afforded just 600 regular seats as well as space for 200 VIPs.
Man United crashed out of the Champions League after a 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg in Germany, and will now contest the Europa League after Christmas for the second time in five years.
