Apple Watch prices have been SLASHED in John Lewis online deal

 

HIGH STREET store John Lewis has SLASHED the price of the Apple Watch ahead of Christmas.

 

John Lewis has dropped the price of the Apple Watch by £50.

That means the must-have Christmas gadget, which is sold with a two-year warranty from John Lewis, starts from £249.

Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch models are included in the sale, with Rose Gold, Black, Silver, Gold and Stainless Steel models available.

Shoppers can also choose from a variety of Apple Watch Sport bands, including the Product Red, White, Midnight Blue and more.

Apple is yet to reveal how many smartwatches it has sold since the new device launched in the spring.

However, some market analysis has hinted the US tech firm could have shifted as many as seven million units.

This would make the Apple gadget the most successful smartwatch to date and eclipses all of its rivals.

 

The Apple Watch brings notifications from your iPhone to your wrist. It also lets you send texts, voice messages, check the weather, calendar or order a taxi.

The wearable – which has a day-long battery life – monitors your daily activity levels, heart rate and can even pay for your bus journey home via Apple Pay.

In a bid to fight back against Apple, Samsung recently launched its new Gear S2 device which features a clever bezel to navigate through apps and menus.

The Gear S2 is now on sale for £249, too.
