WEST HAM manager Slaven Bilic believes his side are at the top of a defensive mistakes league.
Their woes at the back were all too obvious as they were thumped 4-1 at Tottenham last Sunday.
No other side in the Premier League's top 14 has conceded more and former defender Bilic knows his men must learn ahead of Sunday's clash at home to West Brom.
"We spoke to them," said the Croatian. "We showed them bits. We are conceding many goals.
"We are the No 1 team that is making those individual errors or mistakes that are becoming basically assists for the opponents' goals.
"We are by far No 1. It's a lack of concentration. A blip in your head. It is a lack of reaction in the transition. I'm not happy with that."
Tony Pulis, meanwhile, has told West Brom fans he can create another legacy if they give him time at the Hawthorns.
The Baggies boss has been under fire from supporters for Albion's style this season, despite the club sitting 12th in the Premier League.
"There's a big job on at this football club," said Pulis. "I have a good relationship with Jeremy [Peace, chairman] but you hope you get the opportunity and chance. That chance doesn't come if you are losing games. You are always juggling as a manager.
"You lose games and there are people who are going to criticise. That's the nature of the game. I don't lose any sleep over it. I haven't been in the job a year yet."
