PS4 fans can look forward to a few more surprises from Sony at the PlayStation Experience in December.
For those who watched the PlayStation conference at Paris Games Week, complete with Gran Turismo Sport and PlayStation VR announcements, it may seem unlikely that much was left for Sony's event close to the holidays.
Attending PlayStation Experience 2015 in San Francisco on December 5 and 6 includes some major developers, including Activision, Ubisoft, Bungie, Naughty Dog, Square Enix and EA.
And while big keynote presentations have been promised for Saturday morning and a long list of titles revealed to be playable, fans may also get a little extra than they were banking on.
PlayStation's European boss Jim Ryan hinted that more could be revealed before the end of 2015, which could come from Sony or some of the major developers listed above.
"I'm sure there'll be a few surprises for PlayStation Experience," Ryan told Eurogamer.
"Moving from a global calendar of three events to a calendar of four events, it keeps the heat on the developers to churn out new stuff, which is good."
Ryan also spoke about the possibility of The Last Guardian making an appearance at the PlayStation Experience, adding: "The reaction that thing got at E3 - it was very nicely delivered.
"I love those games - the first two - they're really the sort of games that inspired genuine emotion in me as I played them. It's quite special."
And while PlayStation have promised that although their confirmed list of independently developed games looked good, there will be a lot more to come.
The Capcom Cup will also be held at PlayStation Experience this year as a one-day special event open to all attendees on Sunday, December 6, acting as the final culmination of the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour and the official Street Fighter eSports league, the Capcom Cup will feature 32 of the world’s best players competing for the title of “Street Fighter World Champion” and a shot at a $250,000 prize pool.
