TYSON FURY is looking to reign as the heavyweight king for a long time.
The British fighter caused one of boxing’s biggest upsets by beating Wladimir Klitschko to win the WBO, IBF and WBA titles.
And now he wants to rule like Klitschko did after handing him his first defeat in 11 years.
An emotional Fury said: “I hope to have many more of these victories in the future.
“If I could be half as good a champion as Wladimir Klitschko I would be very, very happy.”
Fury revealed on the morning of the fight that his wife Paris is expecting their third child.
So it was a double celebration last night in Dusseldorf.
The new champion said: “I got news yesterday that she is pregnant.
“We were trying for two years to have another child. We're finally having it, so I'm really happy about that.
“This was the icing on the cake, so the Fury family can have a great Christmas and celebration.”
Fury – now unbeaten in 25 fights – had to come through three world title eliminators before he finally got his shot at Klitschko.
He said: “It’s not come easy. It has been 25 fights, three world title eliminators.
“I earned my right to be here. I wasn't given anything for free.
“All the hard work has been rewarded.
“To go down with legends, to call myself heavyweight champion of the world - this is also the icing on the cake.”
