| Arsene Wenger is facing another injury crisis |
ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has revealed Alexis Sanchez told him he was "fine to play" before their match against Norwich.
Sanchez started the match and provided the assist for Mesut Ozil's first half goal.
But in the second half, he chased down a loose ball with Norwich defender Ryan Bennett and immediately went down clutching his right hamstring.
After the match, Wenger looked for positives and claimed he planned to rest Sanchez.
He told Sky Sports: "Of course we are concerned but you go though spells like this in the season.
"We were a bit below par today but at least we didn't lose.
"I would have rested Sanchez today but he said to me before the game he was fine to play."
