According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea's Jose Mourinho has agreed to manage Manchester United at the end of next season, when Louis van Gaal's deal is set to expire.
The Portuguese was one of the candidates considered to replace Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013, but he instead opted to make a return to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Leicester winger Jeffrey Schlupp as reports in Ghana claim Arsenal are lining up a £10m bid ahead of the January window.
The Red Devils are reportedly keen on landing the versatile 22-year-old to provide cover in the absence of injured left-back Luke Shaw.
