INJURED Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has given supporters an injury update as he continues his rehabilitation from a torn hamstring.
The Argentine picked up the injury on international duty last month and has missed seven games for the Premier League leaders.
After City drew 0-0 with Aston Villa yesterday, manager Manuel Pellegrini said he was hopeful that the injured quartet of Aguero, David Silva, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta would be able to resume training next week.

He said: "I hope that this week Sergio, David Silva, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta will work with the physiotherapist and then next Monday they will start working with the squad.
"We will see in the way he improves this week but I think there is a chance he can be after the international break.
"You never know if internationals come at the right moment or not but at least now we have some time to recover some important players."

And to illustrate Pellegrini's comments, Aguero posted two images of himself doing recovery work at City's training ground.
He tweeted: "Giving it my all on recovery work. There's still more to go but getting better by the day!"
City's first match after the international break is Liverpool at the Etihad on November 21.
