Luke Shaw thanks PSV Eindhoven fans for "get well soon" banner ahead of tonight's clash
Luke Shaw suffered the horrific leg break against PSV in September

LUKE SHAW has thanked PSV Eindhoven supporters for their "get well soon" banner which will be displayed ahead of Manchester United's clash with the Dutch side this evening.

The 20-year-old suffered double leg fracture following a tackle by Hector Moreno in the fixture between the two sides in September.
Shaw has been making steady progress in his rehabilitation and is set for a scan on Friday to provide an update on his recovery.

And Shaw has tweeted: "Thank you to the PSV fans for your nice gesture. Looking forward to the game tonight #MUFC."
Shaw has been given permission by manager Louis van Gaal to miss the match after becoming "fed up" with his daily rehab routine.
"It is going very good with him but it’s also difficult for him because now the progress is not as much as in the beginning," the Reds boss said.
"Now, sometimes, he is fed up with the situation and I can imagine that.
"So I give him now, for example, a few days off because I don’t think the memories of PSV are good for him.
"I wondered if he was fed up because maybe it was the match against PSV and every player has to watch the game in the stadium to support their fellow players.
"So I have given him time off but, on Friday, he has a scan and then we will know more about the injury and how it is going."
