PSV EINDHOVEN fans will unveil a 'get well soon' banner in support of Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw during their Champions League clash.
The 20-year-old England international has been sidelined since September after suffering a broken leg in a challenge with PSV's Hector Moreno - who visited the left-back in hospital following the 2-1 defeat.
Shaw returned to United training at the start of October and has stepped up his recovery since the career threatening injury - and has even been walking without crutches in recent weeks.
And the Dutch supporters are hoping to give Shaw a further boost by paying tribute to him at Old Trafford tomorrow.
This comes in the wake of Louis van Gaal giving Shaw four days off to recover from his difficult daily routine and prepare for his scan on Friday.
Van Gaal said: “I think the first match was very disappointing, not only because of the result but because if the loss of Luke Shaw.
“For us he is a very important player and I said in advance already he would be the revelation of the season and he was on his way to do that."
He added: “Shaw was fed up with the daily routine and I saw why he was fed up - maybe because it was PSV.”
