NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest news from Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp expects Philippe Coutinho to be fit for their Capital One Cup quarter-final clash with Southampton on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian missed Liverpool's 1-0 win over Swansea yesterday with a hamstring injury but Klopp is hopeful he can make his return against the Saints.
“Philippe had a very intensive session yesterday, but we decided two or three days ago that we didn’t want to risk [him] for this game,” said Klopp.
“Now I think he’s fit. I saw him in the dressing room and he looks good. I’ll have to talk with him tomorrow – I think he’s ready for Southampton.”

In transfer news, Klopp is targeting a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic, according to the Independent.
The German confirmed that although there was no agreement in place to raid his former club just yet, there is nothing to stop him going back to his old team in need of players.
“I have a good relationship with Borussia Dortmund and I have a very good relationship with all their players," Klopp said. "If there was a possibility and we needed a player, we could try but at the moment there is no agreement to buy anyone from Borussia Dortmund or to sell to them.”
The reports also suggests Klopp could be keen to make a bid for Mats Hummels and Nuri Sahin.

The Reds are also targeting a £20million bid for Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland, according to The Sun.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Britannia Stadium with Liverpool and Everton both reportedly keen.
The England international is regarded as one of the country's brightest young prospects and with Simon Mignolet's future in doubt, Klopp is understood to be looking for alternatives.
The Reds have been linked with a move for Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes and Barcelona's shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in recent months.
