LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp praised captain Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge after the duo made their comebacks from injury in the 1-0 win over Swansea.
Henderson has been out since August with a foot problem while Sturridge made his first appearance under Klopp after the German publicly questioned his willingness to play when not fully fit.
Both came off the bench at Anfield and look set for key roles in a busy period of fixtures for Liverpool.
And Klopp was delighted to have the England duo back.
"It was good news for the big Liverpool family," he said.
"They are two very important players for us and they’re back in the race. They did well for their situation and from where they’ve come from after a long break with difficult injuries.
"Now they are back and that’s really good for us."
