DANIEL STURRIDGE is set to undergo a scan on a foot problem which has ruled him out of tonight's clash with Bordeaux.
The England striker trained at Melwood yesterday but was absent from the squad when they arrived at Anfield.
And Jurgen Klopp confirmed Liverpool were waiting for a scan on the injury.
He told BT Sport: "I cannot say much about this, we trained in the morning and went to the hotel and he had to leave.
"We need to wait for the scan, at this moment I can't say any more."
Sturridge has to play for Klopp having only just recovered from a knee injury.
He has made just seven Premier League starts since October 2014 due to a number of injuries.
