Exclusive: Middle East owners lining up £10million deal for Brendan Rodgers
Rodgers has been linked with replacing Jose Mourinho at Chelsea
AXED Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers could be heading for the desert after being offered a £10 million deal to manage in the Middle East.

The oil rich countries of the region are pulling out all the stops to try and expand the game there.
In the summer Spanish legend Xavi left Barcelona to join Qatari club Al Sadd on a salary believed to be £7 million a season.
Former stars like current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, Gabriel Batistuta, Ronald and Frank de Boer have been lured in the past to what is no longer a footballing outpost.

The identity of the club hoping to end Rodgers’ exile in the game has been kept secret but the Ulsterman has met them and is considering the lucrative package which could see him bank £10 million.
But Rodgers is also aware that he is on a short list of possible replacements if Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich decides to call time on Jose Mourinho’s Stamford Bridge reign.

Rodgers was sacked at the beginning of last month, opening the door to Jurgen Klopp’s Anfield appointment but is anxious to make a return to the game.
Now he has to decide whether to try and create a desert storm – in addition to keeping his bank manager happy.
