MANCHESTER UNITED boss Louis van Gaal has confirmed Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are out of their match against Watford on Saturday.
Martial played for 67 minutes on Tuesday for France against England and was spotted after the match on crutches.
France head coach Didier Deschamps said the 19-year-old had suffered a "knock on the top of his foot".
Rooney scored for England and played the full 90 minutes.
Van Gaal said he was hopeful Martial and Rooney could return against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.
