REAL MADRID will bid for Chelsea ace Eden Hazard if they lose Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG next summer, according to reports.

The Liga club are determined to retain Ronaldo, 30, but are realistic about their chances.
Manchester United are known suitors of their former ace, who was sold to Real in an £80million deal back in 2009.

The Portuguese superstar has in that a summer departure is on the cards - but United are unlikely to get their man.
Instead, Ronaldo is tipped to join a Major League Soccer side in 2017 and agree a £194m, 10-year contract.
He is also wanted by PSG, who have been told they face no repercussion from Financial Fair Play if they pursue Ronaldo.

And in anticipation of Ronaldo's departure Real have stepped up their interests in Hazard, according to talkSPORT.
Hazard, 24, has endured a poor season at Chelsea despite winning the Premier League Player of the Season award just last term.
The Belgium international has had the backing of his manager Jose Mourinho but his performances, and Chelsea's as a whole, have not helped the midfielder's cause.

Chelsea languish 15th in the Premier League heading into their clash at Stoke today (5.30pm).
They would likely not give up Hazard without a fight but Real will have cash reserves from Ronaldo's sale to open negotiations.
