CHELSEA will offer Willian a new £100,000-a-week contract to fend off interest from European rivals.
That is according to the Sun on Sunday, who claim Brazilian Willian is wanted by Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The midfielder, 27, is already under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2018 but could earn upwards of £5.2million with this new proposal.
Talks have reportedly already started over an extension as Chelsea seek to lock down their star man.
The revelation comes as Eden Hazard's future at Chelsea looks increasingly under threat.
Belgium international Hazard has endured a rocky start to the season with the Blues and is wanted by Real Madrid.
According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Real will make a summer move for Hazard if they sell star man Cristiano Ronaldo.
PSG's priority is to secure Ronaldo, 30, over Willian come July but they face competition from Major League Soccer and Manchester United for the Portuguese's signature.
As for Willian, the Brazil international this week spoke about his desire to become a Chelsea legend like Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.
"My hope is to carry on working the same way I am doing right now, and maybe in the future I would like to be recognised by the Chelsea supporters as one of those leaders," he said.
"Becoming a key player is an obligation for me. I am at a stage in my career, 27, where you can reach the peak. The best time for players should be between 27 and 30."
