Black Friday deals Xbox One and PS4: GAME and Microsoft promise fans biggest sale yet



Black Friday deals on Xbox One and PS4s have already been announced



BLACK Friday deals on Xbox One and PS4 products have been promised by leading retailer GAME, while Microsoft have also been teasing their own big sale along with Argos.

 

GAMET, the UK high street retailer, is planning its biggest Black Friday Weekend, spanning from November 27, till Monday, November 30.

Last year saw a huge round of deals being offered on Xbox One and PS4 console bundles, which managed to sell out before their timed slots expired.

GAME believe that this coming Black Friday period will be its biggest yet, although it's unclear if the sales will be as expansive as in 2014 where consoles saw drops in price of up to 40%.

 

CEO Martyn Gibbs revealed some of GAME's plans earlier this year, following the news that the company was set to issue a profit warning due in part to their sales reductions.

“Anybody that is saying they can hold back Black Friday is foolish,” Gibbs told MCV.

“Consumer appetite for Black Friday is here to stay. There are learnings in terms of how to manage it differently next time around. But we look at Black Friday as a big opportunity going forward.”                           

High street retailer Argos have confirmed that they will offer Xbox Ones packages with FIFA 16 and Tomb Raider at £299.99, while PS4s with Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be priced at £289.99. 

 

Both Sony and Microsoft will be staging their own Black Friday Deals via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.

The Xbox One maker has already launched their placecard site for the sales event, teasing fans: "Black Friday will be here soon and bigger than ever."

Xbox One Gold members will have early access to some of those deals starting November 20, with a recent teaser trailer from the company, revealing: "Xbox Live Gold members will get early access to deals of up to 40-60% off and save up to 10% more for being Gold from November 20-23.

"Get your first month of Gold membership for $1 through your Xbox 360 or Xbox One only November 20-30, 2015."

It is unclear at this time if the same deals will be offered to Xbox Live members in the UK.
