Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir after he revealed his dream destination would be Barcelona.

"If clubs present themselves, we will have to see," the Frenchman said. "My favourite club is Barcelona. But I need to work a lot, I am aware of that."

 

Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed there were several bids rejected in the summer for out-of-favour winger Joel Campbell.

"This season I did not want to give him out because he is a fighter," Wenger said. "We had offers to loan him out but I am very keen to keep him here."
